Jake Kelley

“Great things happen to those who don't stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful.” ― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Fueled by a constant passion of seeing others succeed, Jake is honored to serve HOSA-Future Health Professionals this year as President-Elect. A sophomore at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, Jake is studying Biology on a pre-medicine track with a minor in Public Health. He plans to become a cardiothoracic surgeon and hopes to continue supporting HOSA on the professional side. He is a Tennessee native and loves to live up to his state’s nickname of being a volunteer. In his free time, Jake can be found volunteering at his local hospital, at a local tourism company, or with the American Red Cross. He is also a tireless advocate for Career and Technical Education and understands the importance of such curriculum in schools across the country. He wants to ensure each and every HOSA member is exposed to opportunities that allow them to learn, lead, serve, and innovate. Besides HOSA, Jake loves reading, lifeguarding, cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, and being outside. Jake looks forward to the years ahead and can’t wait to help members look towards and achieve their tomorrow.
